Who We Are

Reach Out Foundation (REACH OUT) is a community-based non-governmental organization registered by the Government of Kenya under the Ministry of Gender and Social Services. The foundation was established in 2008 in response to the social and economic challenges experienced by many communities following the post-election violence in Kenya.

Officially registered on 14th October 2010, we have remained committed to empowering vulnerable communities by implementing sustainable programs that promote self-reliance, dignity, and long-term development.

Community Work

Our Story

Reach Out Foundation was born out of a desire by concerned Kenyans to respond to widening social and economic inequalities. Many families faced challenges related to poverty, limited access to education, inadequate healthcare, unemployment, and poor sanitation.

In the early years, even without formal sponsorship, we mobilized local and international volunteers who generously offered their time and expertise. These volunteers played a vital role in supporting community schools, feeding programs, and medical assistance.
